You will not win and if, by some miracle you do win, it will be after much wasted time and energy. Then there’s also obeying the rules of the road and not drinking and driving which is a general concern for everyday individuals on the road.
But my favourite example of what one must never do is by far from this recent article I read concerning a man who had thought it a great idea to film him and his then high school girlfriend having sex, without her knowledge.
The man then claims to be ignorant of how the footage of their lovemaking made it onto social media as he had ‘not shown it to anyone’. The man also claims there was no intention on his part to show the footage to anyone.
Why then film it? Surely the act between two lovers in private should have been enough to live on in their memories alone?
But the story doesn’t end there as the jilted lover who clearly didn’t appreciate being made a social media trend took to some serious level of crazy and attacked her new ex-boyfriend’s genitals with battery acid.
What shocks me is that he says he didn’t see this coming, and I wonder how many other guys like him exist out there thinking the same?
It’s a sad state of affairs when a man thinks it is okay to film such intimate activities without the other party’s consent and just ‘accidently’ leave it to the interweb’s claws.
Of course, our current offender didn’t even press charges against his ex-girlfriend for the damage of his manly goods and I wonder is it because he knows the damage he’s done or because he’s that ignorant of the actual situation in general?
That’s a scary thought, are people becoming that ignorant of what they film and share on social media or is the idea of what is private and personal sorely lacking in our current society?
